Student employment support agreement
On 26 May 2026, Law Firm Lawyeon Immigration Law Center signed a memorandum of understanding with Far East University to support international students with employment and career planning.
The agreement covers visa and immigration services and legal advice for students seeking employment and settling in Korea after graduation.
Visa lecture at the job fair
On the day the MOU was signed, Law Firm Lawyeon delivered a lecture to enrolled international students at the international student job fair held at Far East University's SMART-K tech Center.
The lecture covered work visa options after graduation and Korean law governing work visas. It explained the procedures and requirements for changing from D-2 student status to work status, as well as the rules for maintaining lawful status after employment begins.
Free visa and legal consultations
At the job fair, Law Firm Lawyeon also ran a legal clinic booth offering free visa and legal consultation to international students.
The team offered individual consultations on post-graduation visa options suited to each student’s qualifications, major and career plans, and answered questions about changes of status and work visa applications.
Legal support for employment and residence
Under the agreement, Lawyeon’s attorneys and immigration specialists will help Far East University’s international students plan their post-graduation visas, change to work status, and address legal matters arising as they settle in Korea.
